Exciting News for England Walking Football

There is exciting news for England Walking Football as we proudly celebrate a major appointment within the organisation.

We are delighted to share that our very own Graham Liddiard has been appointed Director of Men’s Football for England Walking Football (EWF), alongside Peter Davenport, who takes on the role of Assistant Director.

This is a fantastic achievement and recognition of Graham’s dedication, experience and leadership within the game. His involvement at both club and national level continues to make a significant impact on the development of walking football.

Speaking following the announcement at training on Sunday, Graham said:

“After the announcement at training on Sunday, I want to say how proud I am to be asked to take on the role of Director of Men’s Football for EWF. I feel very privileged to be working with such a fantastic group of players and managers. I am especially pleased that I have Peter Davenport alongside me. Hopefully between the two of us we can help make EWF even stronger.”

Graham’s appointment marks an exciting step forward for England Walking Football as the organisation continues to grow and strengthen the game at all levels. With both Graham and Peter bringing a wealth of experience and passion, the future looks incredibly positive.

Everyone at the club would like to congratulate Graham and wish both him and Peter every success in their new roles.

A proud moment — not just for Graham, but for the entire walking football community.
