3rd Over 60s Anglo-Welsh Tournament – Event Summary

On Sunday, 27th July 2025, Solihull Moors proudly hosted the 3rd Over 60s Anglo-Welsh Tournament, welcoming teams, players and supporters for a memorable day of football and friendship. The atmosphere was fantastic, with competitive matches played in great spirit and plenty of camaraderie both on and off the pitch.

We are delighted to share that the event was another resounding success, raising over £300 for the Solihull Moors Foundation. This generous contribution will help support the Foundation’s ongoing work with underprivileged children and vital community projects.

A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone involved — the players who competed with passion, the supporters who created such a positive atmosphere, and all those who donated, volunteered or helped organise the day. Your enthusiasm and commitment are what make events like this so special.
