Paul Evans (Evs)

After snapping my Achilles tendon when i was in my early thirties, I had to “retire” from the beautiful game. I tried alternative hobbies, but nothing has come close to football. I was lucky enough to semi-retire and concentrate more on my health and fitness. Having a look online, i noticed that Solihull Moors had a team of walking footballers and thought I would give it a try. I was welcomed into the club and haven’t looked back. I do still pick up the occasional niggle, but I do feel fitter and stronger than I did 20 years ago.
