A Christmas Message from the Chairman, John McGinnell & The Committee Team

As we bring 2025 to a close, the committee and I would like to offer my heartfelt thanks to every player, coach and volunteer who has contributed to Solihull Moors Walking Football Club this year. Your commitment, energy and support have been remarkable, and it is a privilege to be part of a club built on such strong community spirit.

This year has also been exceptional in terms of fundraising and charitable work. Together, we have raised a significant amount of money for good causes, supporting charities and community projects that make a real difference to people’s lives. Whether through tournaments, special events or individual contributions, the generosity shown by our members has been inspiring. Every pound raised has helped support underprivileged children, important health causes, and local organisations that are close to the hearts of our players. Thank you for giving so much back to the community and representing the club with such pride.

Throughout 2025, we have shared unforgettable moments on and off the pitch — competitive games, league successes, social events and the everyday camaraderie that makes walking football so special. None of this would be possible without the dedication shown by our members, the passion of our coaching staff, and the invaluable help from those who work tirelessly behind the scenes.

As we enter the festive season, we want to wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a healthy, happy New Year in 2026. Enjoy the break, recharge, and spend time with the people who matter most.
