Solihull Moors Over 50s produced a convincing all-round performance to secure a 4–0 victory over Boldmere St Michaels Nomads in the Birmingham Over 50s Cup.
From the opening exchanges, Moors looked sharp and well organised, moving the ball neatly and setting the tempo against determined opposition. The early pressure paid off as Glenn Page opened the scoring, setting the platform for a dominant display.
Moors continued to play some excellent walking football, combining tidy passing with intelligent movement off the ball. Page was in outstanding form throughout, showing composure and clinical finishing as he added to his tally, keeping the Nomads defence under constant pressure.
Defensively, Solihull Moors were equally impressive, limiting Boldmere to very few opportunities and maintaining their shape throughout the match. The clean sheet was well deserved, reflecting the team’s concentration and discipline from front to back.
