SOLIHULL MOORS 3 Vs CHASETOWN WALKING FOOTBALL 1
WFA STAFFS OVER 60s TOURNAMENT - GAME 3 | 24.03.2026
Solihull Moors continued their impressive run in the WFA Staffordshire Over 60s Tournament with a well-earned 3–1 victory over Chasetown Walking Football.
Moors produced another strong, controlled performance, showing composure in possession and working hard as a unit both in and out of the ball. From the outset, they looked organised and confident, building play patiently and creating opportunities through smart movement and passing.
Steve Shorrock was the standout performer in front of goal, scoring twice to put Moors firmly in control. His clinical finishing ensured Moors made the most of their attacking spells. Graham Liddiard added a third goal to cap off a solid attacking display and give Moors breathing space.
Chasetown did manage to score a goal back, but Moors remained disciplined and focused, seeing the game out professionally without allowing any further chances to develop.
It was another strong all-round team performance, maintaining momentum in the tournament and reinforcing Moors’ consistency across all areas of the pitch.
