SOLIHULL MOORS 2 Vs WORCESTER CITY 0
WORCESTER LEAGUE | 02.11.2025
Solihull Moors started slowly, looking slightly out of sorts during the opening five minutes and allowing Worcester City too much space. However, once the side settled, they quickly took control and became rock solid at the back.
The breakthrough came from a move built patiently from defence, with Pete Hurrell threading an excellent line pass into Brendan Mulcahy, who found Simon James. He finished confidently, placing the ball into the corner.
The second goal followed soon after. Kevin Attwood showed great awareness to pick out Steve Shorrock, who produced a smart flick and tidy finish to double the lead before half-time.
Moors remained composed throughout the second period, with Tim Tyler and Pete Hurrell standing firm at the back. Attwood was industrious in midfield, while Rich Parker impressed on the left with accurate passing. Paul Evans made two important saves to secure a clean sheet, and Mulcahy remained a constant threat up front.
A well-earned win.
