Solihull Moors continued their impressive form in the WFA Staffordshire Over 60s Tournament with a solid 2–0 victory over Wolves Walking Football.
Moors once again showed their consistency and control, producing a disciplined performance both in and out of possession. From the outset, they looked organised and confident, managing the game well and limiting Wolves’ opportunities.
The breakthrough came through Steve Shorrock, who continued his strong run of form in front of goal. His finish gave Moors the lead and settled the team into their rhythm. Tony Newton added a second goal to give Moors a comfortable advantage and reward their continued pressure.
Defensively, Moors remained compact and focused, ensuring Wolves were unable to find a way back into the game. It was another clean sheet for a side that has shown excellent balance throughout the tournament.
After four games, Moors have now scored 13 goals and conceded just 3, highlighting their strength at both ends of the pitch.
Attention now turns to the next round of matches on 12th May 2026, as Moors look to maintain their momentum.
